Tinka Robev, Entrepreneur, Multidisciplinary Designer
Forming the multidisciplinary design firm Studio Robazzo with partner Andrew Azzopardi in 2015 while completing her Bachelor's degree in Architecture at the University of Waterloo, Tinka Robev is a highly-motivated and multi-talented young woman with a true entrepreneurial spirit. Outside of the office, Tinka loves to travel and is an avid linguist, with 6 conversationally-fluent languages under her belt. During the pandemic, Tinka has rekindled old hobbies such as folding origami, playing the acoustic guitar, and reading good old fashioned paper books.
In her career, Tinka is most passionate about branding and graphic design, and has created unique graphic packages for notable clients such as Pacific Rim College, NUBO Tapas, TEDxVictoria, the Victoria Film Festival and Victoria Fashion Week as well as a number of other local and not-so-local clients. Studio Robazzo, which received the Douglas 10 to Watch Award in 2017, has also completed work for TED2018, the Vancouver International Film Festival, and Mayfair Shopping Centre, to name a few.
A natural leader, Tinka has been involved in various community organizations since moving to Victoria in 2014, acting as a co-producer of Victoria Fashion Week, a founding member of the Victoria Design Nerds, a board member at FLUX Media Gallery, co-chair of the Business for Business LowTown chapter, and a director at large for the Vancouver Island Construction Association Young Builders Network.
