Mary Vellani, Senior Manager, Cash Management, TD Bank
As the Senior Manager of Cash Management at the Lower Mainland North Commercial Banking Center for TD Bank, Mary is responsible for a team that supports medium to large Companies to more effectively and efficiently manage their business. Mary has been in the Financial Services Industry for over 30 years starting her career as a part time teller at Canada Trust while studying Zoology at UBC. Mary obtained the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation in 1998 and continued her Financial Management education at SFU. She & her husband Al-Riyaz have a 17 year old daughter, Ariyanna, who is in French Immersion & Music. Mary serves on the Port Moody Police Board & the ACT2 Child & Family Services Board. Mary is the current President of the TriCities Chamber of Commerce Board, she serves on the Port Moody Economic Development Committee, the BBOT Women's Committee, the RMA Women's Committee, the Professionals Alliance and supports the Economic Planning Board for AKDN by facilitating financial literacy sessions. Mary is also on the ONE TD Committees for Burnaby & the TriCities and volunteers for other organizations. Mary's family enjoys the Westcoast lifestyle: Hiking, biking, snowshoeing and kayaking.
