Kelly Bryant, Senior Policy Advisor

 

Kelly Bryant is a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, the Honourable Carla Qualtrough.  She lives and works in Ottawa, Ontario, for the Government of Canada’s Department of Employment and Social Development.  In this role, Kelly focuses on policy and programming relating to training, skills development and the future of work.  Previously, she served as a Special Advisor for Stakeholder Relations to the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, the Honourable Patty Hajdu.

Kelly has also worked for the Liberal Party of Canada as a National Field Coordinator, and recently as a Regional Field Organizer for British Columbia in the 2019 federal general election.  Kelly’s interest in politics began while in university, when she joined Equal Voice, a multi-partisan organization committed to increasing the representation of women in all levels of government in Canada.

Kelly grew up in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, and received a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management with a specialization in Human Rights from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.
