Caval Olson-Lepage, Wealth Advisory Team Leader

Having worked in the financial industry for over 13 years, Caval is intensely committed to supporting  and empowering people through financial literacy. She is a Certified Each One Teach One Financial  Literacy Facilitator. Her passion for her career and clients have earned her a Wealth Professional  Young Gun Award as well as a Qtrade Top Advisor Award. Caval's expertise and financial acumen,  along with her infectious personality, have led to re-curring features on CTV's morning news and CBC  radio as a guest expert. Most recently she accepted a volunteer role as a National Media  Ambassador for FP Canada, where she will be informing Canadians on the importance of Financial  Planning. She is a constant source of encouragement and inspiration to her colleagues, positively  impacting the work environment for all of those around her.  

Caval has held a variety of roles within the financial industry from Teller, Account Manager, Certified  Financial Planner and Investment Advisor to her current position as Team Lead for Affinity Credit  Union’s Wealth Advisory Team. Her team is one of two in Canada that offers telephone based  holistic wealth advice for Affinity’s members that is timely and flexible to their members needs. She  was an active member of Saskatchewan Young Leaders and the National Credit Union Young Leaders  programs.  

Caval is an unapologetic advocate for equality and a compassionate leader who exudes authenticity,  integrity and bravery in all that she does. Her passion for advocacy work lead her to executive board  positions locally and nationally with Business and Professional Women (BPW) fostering the  professional and leadership potential of women through education, advocacy and mentorship. Her  roles with BPW have included Marketing Director and local club President, Provincial President,  National Chair of Violence against Women Task Force and National First Vice President.  

As a passionate advocate, Caval consistently identifies opportunities to facilitate meaningful  collaborations while creating respectful and impactful dialogue on some of the most pressing and  difficult issues of our time. She is a consummate community-builder and approaches every facet of  her life and work with an appreciation and deep reverence for the intrinsic worthiness of every  individual.
